Nice relaxing place, beautiful garden. Only issue I had no water available at night. Vending machine cash only. Rest of hotel card only. Reception staff were not helpful. Could not offer a glass of water. Disappointed.

Attending a wedding here, the hotel itself was dated. There was hardly any attention to detail and dirty.
The staff were useless, apart from one male receptionist who tried his hardest to accommodate however no other employee would support him and therefore he ultimately could not help.
Overall this would be a last resort hotel to use when passing .
Expect nothing special and no customer service.
If you need a roof over your head and a bed,

My room was in the lovely manor house building.
Ideally located, peaceful garden to relax. On my list when next travelling this way!

Reasonable room rates, room clean , water hot in bath/shower-food was extremely tasty, and excellent value for money for both evening meal and breakfast.
Weather was hot and only improvement would have been to keep complimentary water/juice in foyer topped up as no cool water or drinks available in room.

Curtains were undersized for the room so was woken up at around 05:00 by daylight light coming through did complain the night before and in the morning was informed that someone would come up to have a look but no body turned up

The hotel is very very good. Location is great, rooms are nice and cozy, you get shower gels, hand soaps included. Parking is large and always space. For the price I will definetly be back. Don’t look at the other reviews that say this is a bad place. As soon as I walked in it’s an antique luxury feel. Corridors are slightly outdated but rooms got a big tv, comfy beds, new bathrooms. My tv remote didn’t work unfortunately. But customer service is great aswell. Definitely be coming back when I’m here
